Home of the 2023 & 2024 Canadian Championships

The Squamish 50, in collaboration with Athletics Canada, the Association of Canadian Ultramarathoners (ACU), and the Canadian Mountain Running Association (CMRA), is honoured to host the 2023 and 2024 Canadian Mountain & Trail Running Championship for 50km and 50 Miles. 

The Squamish 50 attracts some of the world’s best runners as well as hundreds of participants from across Canada. The race is home to the 2023 Canadian Mountain & Trail Running Championships and in 2024 will serve as the selection trials for the 2025 World Mountain & Trail Running Championships.

Squamish50 Course Updates for 2024

The District of Squamish has grown a lot in the last decade and future construction plans will necessitate a handful of changes, so after ten years on the current courses, we are making some minor changes for 2024.
